Shahla_Farzana

Shahla Farzana obtained her PhD from the department of Computer Science, University of Illinois Chicago. Her research interests are at the intersection of applied Natural Language Processing (NLP), cognitive and behavioral health, ecommerce applications, dialog systems and its application in healthcare and education.  She worked as an applied research intern in the summer (Su’22, Su’23) at eBay. Her research works have been published in the top-tier NLP and speech related conferences like ACL, The ACM web conference (WWW), SIGdial, INTERSPEECH, and so on.

In her free time, she likes to spend quality time with family and friends, travel, play badminton, and listen to podcasts.
